Broome Trike Flights
TRAINING SCHOOL
At Broome International Airport
West Australia
TWO WEEK COURSE
The aim of the course is to obtain your Weight Shift Micro Light Pilot Certificate.
The most positive and economical way is to dedicate two weeks: Aviation, Trikes, Airmanship, Airport procedure, will be on your mind each day; the knowledge will not be lost by gaps in the training.
This can only be accomplished by a keen and committed student. Most pursuits in life need a target; flying is life and death, therefore requires a rigorous discipline, (not unlike the armed forces). Your Instructor is not here to be your friend, (that is a bonus), he is here to teach you how to fly SAFELY, whatever that might take. If you are not up to that standard it is better to pick another pursuit.
You must be in good health, physically and mentally…do not bring excess baggage to class…sleep deprivation, business or social problems; this will slow you down.
Typical day: Sunrise; pre flight, 60 min flight lesson, post flight, then 60 min break for breakfast. Three hours of theory lessons with breaks. Break for lunch and rest. PM; pre flight, 60 min flight lesson, post flight. Sum up the day with a coffee/tea/cold beer. Homework is left to the discretion of the student.
Training months Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar by booking only. It is possible for the weather to affect the schedule.
You have to EARN your qualification; it will not be given just because you have attended and paid for this course.
A high standard is expected by the School at The Broome International Airport; one which a Student can be proud of in later years.
